Can I view my security cameras from my phone?

Yes. Compatible systems can provide secure remote viewing from smartphones, tablets and computers. Aloha Secure configures remote access and provides training after installation.

How long will my security camera recordings be stored?

Recording retention depends on the number of cameras, resolution, frame rate, recording settings and NVR storage capacity. We commonly design systems around approximately 30 days or more of storage when appropriate, but storage can be customized for the property.

Do security cameras still record if the Internet goes down?

With a locally recorded NVR system, the cameras and recorder can normally continue recording on the local network even if the Internet connection is unavailable. Internet access is generally needed for off-site remote viewing.

Do you install wireless security cameras?

For professional installations, Aloha Secure generally recommends hardwired IP/PoE cameras because of their reliability, performance and security. Wireless equipment may be considered for unusual situations, but it is not our preferred design for permanent professional surveillance systems.

Do you offer security camera monitoring?

Yes. In addition to traditional self-monitored camera systems, Aloha Secure can provide virtual security guard monitoring options for customers who want active remote response.

Can you upgrade an existing CCTV or security camera system?

Yes. We can evaluate existing cameras, cabling, NVRs, network infrastructure and remote-access configurations and determine whether the existing system can be upgraded or whether replacement would provide better performance and reliability.
